Mission: FLOW

Welcome to Focus & Flow Co., where we believe that strong classrooms begin with supported teachers. My mission is to empower educators and organizations to implement effective systems and strengthen classroom management skills. We understand that every child learns differently, and we are committed to teaching staff members how to provide the necessary support without the need for a formal diagnosis. equipping teachers with practical tools and inclusive strategies, that ensure that every learner is met with dignity and respect. The focus is to create nurturing environments where all students feel valued and understood.

What does Focus & Flow Do?

Focus and Flow Co supports schools and families by helping create calmer, more inclusive environments where students can better regulate, focus, and succeed. Through sensory-friendly strategies, organization support, behavior-informed approaches, and neurodiversity advocacy, the goal is to help both students and staff feel more supported throughout the school day.

I bring both lived experience and a strong passion for supporting neurodivergent students and families. I understand the real challenges teachers, parents, and students face, and I help bridge communication, provide practical support, and create systems that make daily school life smoother and more successful for everyone involved.

As a parent of children who needed a different approach, I created a vision rooted in inclusion, advocacy, and meaningful support. This work is deeply personal to me because every student deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment that understands their unique needs.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jenny, and I help educators turn chaos into clarity.

I founded Focus & Flow Co. to help educators and organizations create intentional systems that support both students and teachers. My work is grounded in over a decade of experience in education and a deep commitment to supporting diverse learners.

Since 2010, I’ve served in a variety of roles, including teacher, department lead, teen mentor, and executive functioning coach. I hold a degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education and have extensive training in trauma-informed practices and neurodivergence. These experiences shaped my approach to building supportive, structured environments that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful learning.

The range of roles I’ve held allowed me to shape a field of work I am deeply passionate about. I’ve seen firsthand that a strong early childhood foundation is the backbone for building connections, understanding others, and developing essential social-emotional and emergent literacy skills. Through my work in executive functioning coaching and mentorship, I’ve recognized how monumental the early years are in shaping long-term success. This perspective has also been reinforced through my own experience as a parent of neurodivergent children, giving me insight into both the professional and personal impact of early support.

I believe that when educators are equipped with practical tools and sustainable systems, they can create environments that nurture development, strengthen relationships, and set learners up for lasting success. Providing that support — and helping classrooms find both focus and flow — is at the heart of the work I do.

    Parent (Virtual Class)

Great class! My daughter had a lot of "AHA“ moments. Above just planning and organizing, the teacher discussed different learning and communication styles which helped both my teenage daughter and I learn to communicate with each other more effectively and avoid conflict. How can I, as the mom, ask my daughter to clean her room so she can hear it and process the request. And how can my daughter hear what I’m asking and communicate reasonable timelines and limits. A great class for teens AND parents!

    Assistant Director

Jenny did a wonderful job at communicating with us from the very start. She made sure that her plan of action was tailored to our specific needs. She took the time to check in and see if we needed any help better understanding how to implement her plan of action. Her work not only helped us connect with our students on a higher level, but helped them communicate with eachother better! I could not recommend Jenny more!

    Toddler Lead Teacher

Ms. Jenny is amazing! She has been a huge help in regards helping me understand the reasoning behind behavior with children and strategies I can utilize in the classroom to manage difficult behavior. She is well organized and has amazing ideas on how to stay organized. For example, she helped create a picture layout of where cots are placed so any sub can step into my classroom see where the children’s beds need to be without explanation. She is professional, and is open minded. Most importantly, Jenny really listens to you. Whether they are concerns, what needs fixing or what is working she is always there to help. If I were to sum up Ms. Jenny, she is a problem solver and fixer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1

Do you work on-site or virtually?

I generally favor providing support to schools and organizations in-person; however, workshops and courses can definitely be conducted virtually via Google Meet. Additionally, I can offer substantial support after conducting adequate in-person observations to develop a Plan of Action, which can then be implemented through virtual meetings.

    2

    How long does support last?

Services may differ depending on the specific offering. However, if the agreed service takes longer than expected, I will ensure its completion at no additional charge. If there is a change in direction, I will provide a new quote. Please note that deposits are non-refundable to guarantee uninterrupted service.

Are plans individualized or am I limited to the specific services you offer?

I take immense pride in paying attention to detail and tailoring your experience, except when it involves systems intended for general use. My primary focus is to address all of your concerns. I customize my services to meet the needs of your teachers and learners.

    What classes do you teach?

I have been teaching classes for teenagers for many years and it remains my passion. As a former teacher, I believe that once a teacher, always a teacher. I love reconnecting with learners, which I truly miss! My classes emphasize essential life skills, including planning with digital planners, establishing long-term habits and goals, understanding learning style preferences, enhancing study skills. Additionally, I offer an option for parents who would like to join their teens in learning these strategies together to work towards shared goals and a structured home environment. This class is available for adults as well.
